Fedex Forum 191 Beale Street, Memphis, TN, 38103

The FedExForum is owned to Memphis City, and sold the naming rights for FedEx for million. The arena hosts also ice hockey games and concerts. Before the opening of the arena, it was subject to a wind storm in July 2003 that caused damages to cranes that were constructing the arena close to Beale Street.

The interior design is created to pay homage to Memphis’ musical legacy. Different paintings of the city’s famous artists are painted there. The arena was the pioneer in using "see-through" shot clock, and now they are used in many other arenas including Staples Center, Oracle Arena, TD Garden…and many others.

FedExForum hosted some big boxing games such as the Glen Johnson vs Roy Jones Jr. fight on September 25, 2004 won by Johnson a knockout. Also, it hosted WWE Unforgiven and Clash of Legends events in 2007. Besides, the arena hosted some main religious events like Holy Convocation in 2008. The first Ultimate Fighting Championship to be held in the arena was in 2009. In May 2013, Paul McCartney performed at the arena.
